Nollywood actress and Deputy Guber Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos state, Funke Akindele has deleted all political-related content from her Instagram page.
A quick check on the actress’s social media account revealed that all images and posts from her political rallies and other campaign activities have been deleted.
Her action comes on the heels of the PDP’s defeat to the incumbent governor and All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, in the keenly contested gubernatorial elections held on March 18, 2023.
Sanwo-Olu polled 762,134 votes while the Labour Party’s Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour got 312,329 votes and Jandor came a distance third with 62,449 votes.
