According to him, the organization is a non-governmental body duly registered with Corporate Affairs Commission with the aim to promote agriculture in Nigeria for the purpose of food security in the face of COVID-19 and climate changes.

Noting that the Group is not a political group rather or sectional group, but an association of a conglomerate of men and women that are mainly youths and are ready to make positive impacts through agriculture for a better living cutting across the whole geo-political zones across the federation.

While appealing to the Federal Government and other relevant agencies within Nigeria and Africa to encourage farming by giving the necessary support and political will to ensure that issues of imminent hunger become a thing of the past in the land, he stressed the need to inaugurate the Group based on past and recent experiences faced by farmers and persons in agricultural business as very unpalatable.

In his words “This Group came up because the real farmers or people who really have interest in farming are not able to access the government grants, loans and other incentives meant for agriculture, rather, it is going to wrong hands”.

“This appeal is therefore made to all the major political stakeholders, traditional institutions and religious leaders across the six geo-political zones of the country, as an invitation to the inauguration of the association slated for Saturday 27th of February, 2021 at the State Sports Council Complex, Osogbo, in Osun State.”

While calling for the support of the Group at all levels, he assured the Federal Government; under the leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari; of the unity of the country through agriculture.
