Five Forest Guards killed in Kwara

Five forest guards were k!lled by bandits in a fresh attack on Nuku village in Kaiama Local Government Area of Kwara State.

The attack occurred in the early hours of Friday, April 10.

The bandits arrived the community in large numbers at about 3 am and began shooting sporadically.

They reportedly operated for hours without resistance.

Several people were k!lled in the attack, including newly recruited forest guards.

They also destroyed several properties and burnt motorcycles belonging to the forest guards and patrol vehicles operated by the mobile police.
