An early morning fire, on Monday, engulfed the market in Trademore estate Lugbe, Abuja
According to the National Emergency Management Agency , NEMA the fire incident occured at about 04:50 hrs on Monday morning and was reported through a distress call.
“NEMA Abuja operations office AOO activated the Police ,Fire service and other Stakeholders who responded immediately.
“Currently, the fire is under control. It affected the food Market at the estate.
“The Fire was prevented from spreading to residential Buildings. No lives were lost, food stuff worth millions were destroyed.
“The Fire Service is investigating the cause of the inferno.”
