The lawmakers are: Tijjani Abdulkadir Jobe (Dawakin Tofa/Rimin Gado/Tofa Federal Constituency), Garba Ibrahim Diso (Gwale Federal Constituency), Hassan Shehu Hussain (Nassarawa Federal Constituency) and Idris Dankawu (Kumbotso Federal Constituency)

Others are; Muhamamad Chiroma Nalaraba (Gezawa/Gabasawa Federal Constituency), Barr. Rabiu Yusuf (Takai/Sumaila Federal Constituency), Dr Ghali Mustapha Tijjani (Albasu/Gaya/Ajingi Federal Constituency) and Barr. Muhammad Bello Shehu (Fagge Federal Constituency)

Their defection was witnessed by Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf, as well as a former governor of the state, Abdullahi Ganduje, along with other dignitaries and party leaders.

It would be recalled that Governor Yusuf had earlier defected from the NNPP to the APC.

Yusuf’s former godfather and ally, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, recently defected from the NNPP to the African Democratic Congress, ADC.
