A Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo State, Olumuyiwa Sylvester Adu has congratulated Muslims across the state on this year’s celebration of Eid-el-Maulud.
His early morning message was contained in a release he personally signed to extend best wishes to Muslim communities across the state and the nation at large.
Barr. Adu who applauded many Muslims for living up to the tenets of their religion to show love and care for the poor, further urged them to keep up with the spirit most especially in this hard times when many families face untold hardship.
He also expressed high hopes that Nigeria will rise again and surmount all its challenges if the people are deliberate in their choice of leadership.
Barr. Adu particularly called on the youths to celebrate with all sense of duty and be moderate in all that they do saying Eid-ul- Maulud, which is the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, should be celebrated in a manner that is in tandem with what the Prophet preached.
He further used the occasion to urge Muslims to pray for the nation to continue to experience peace.
