A suspected deadly kidnap kingpin, identified as ‘Lion’ has been arrested by the police in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital territory.
Lion was said to have been traced from Bayelsa and arrested in Abuja.
A video had earlier emerged of Lion flaunting money on social media and encouraging his followers to “hustle”.
A viral video also captured the moment the dreaded kidnapper was arrested by the police and handcuffed.
He was shedding tears and pleading for mercy, saying he had only kidnapped people twice.
He also begged to be set free because his wife just had a baby.
However, a man there claimed to be one of Lion’s victims and insisted the suspect has kidnapped more than two people.
He narrated how Lion allegedly kidnapped him and threatened to end his life.
