The trend started in Zambia where men pledged not to spend more than K5 Zambia currency on their girlfriend and vowed to invest more.

However, Nigerians also created their online form with the objective of resisting any form of financial exploitation from the other gender.

The motto for the association is “I will see what I can do”. Their round logo shows a fist showing solidarity for their cause and a clause below that reads; “Don’t give shishi” which means, don’t give anything.

Many attached their images to the logo while giving themselves designations; these designations range from Chief whip to secretary, to chairman, and many more.

Nigeria women have now also taken to social media to launch a retaliatory Stingy Women Association.

The motto for the association is “No Punani for broke boys”. Their round logo shows a closed thighs, legs” showing solidarity for their cause too and a clause below that reads; “Don’t open up”meaning No Sex

“Dear ladies, Dont give any stingy guy punani till further notice. Just retweet.” Stingy women association tweeted.

The women association have also made ID card available also with images and designation.

It still not sure if the women association will go far as a lot of women are frowning at the no sex logo.
