Popular Nigerian Disc Jockey, Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola popularly known as DJ Cuppy has officially announced a temporary break from social media.
She made the announcement in a post on her X (formerly Twitter), she wrote:
“Never done this before but I’m taking a short break from social media. I need some quiet time with myself and time being hidden with God. I’m okay and just taking a moment to reset and reconnect. I’ll be back.”
She further explained in related updates that the break is tied to starting the new year with a 21-day biblical fasting.
She stressed the need for personal reflection, spiritual renewal, and processing a few private matters quietly, noting that after recent weeks of reflection, she realized she needed this more than ever.
Reassuring her fans, she said; “Please do not worry about me, I am okay… I know I usually post on Instagram every day, so this feels strange even for me. I will be back. Just taking a moment to reset and reconnect.”
