Operatives of the Special Anti-Kidnapping and Cybercrime Squad have arrested a forty seven year old native doctor, Okonji Chimeze, male at Umuehe Quarters, Ibusa, Delta State.
The Police also recovered two automatic pump-action guns and one cutlass from the residence of the suspect.
Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe who confirmed the report in a statement said the suspect was arrested on 14th of June 2025 at about 0630hrs during an investigation.
“A search warrant was executed on the premises of the suspect during which two automatic pump-action guns and one cutlass were recovered hidden inside the ceiling of the suspect’s room.
”The suspect and exhibits are in custody as the investigation is ongoing.”
