Osun State Governor, Gboyega Oyetola has tasked the forum of State Security Network(Amotekun Corps) on the need to collaborate to combat crime in the South Western States.
He made the call on Friday when the Amotekun Corps Commanders in the SouthWest Region paid him a courtesy call at his office at the State Secretariat, Abeere, Osogbo, the State Capital.
The Forum appreciated the governor for the unflinching support given to Amotekun Corps in the State.
In his address, Governor Oyetola charged the security outfit commanders on the need for collaboration to combat crimes in each state of the region and to curb the immigration of criminals into any state of the South West.
While saluting the governors of the region for their proactiveness in establishing the security outfit, Oyetola emphasized that criminality has no ethnic or religious coloration and that all hands must be on deck to rid the region of criminal activities.
