The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control NCDC on Friday confirmed additional 113 new cases of COVID19 in Nigeria at the confirmed cases hit 162,388.
The health agency also confirmed 3 deaths in the country moving the death toll to 2,039.
The 113 new infections were reported in 9 States and the Federal Capital Territory and again no State recorded a 3 digits number as Lagos recorded the highest with 53 new cases.
Others are: Rivers-22, Akwa Ibom-12, Kaduna-12, Ondo-6, Osun-3, FCT-2, Jigawa-1
Nasarawa-1 and Kano-1.
According to the health agency since the outbreak of the pandemic 162,388 have been confirmed across the 36 States while
149,986 have been discharged leaving 10,363 actives cases.
Of the active cases FCT has the highest with 2,382 on admission,followed by Nasarawa with 1,932 and Ondo with 1,012 active cases on admission.
