The Nigeria Centre for Disease, NCDC has confirmed 1,133 new cases of #COVID-19 in the country. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria to 80,922.
The public health agency made this known in its daily COVID-19 update posted on its Twitter handle Wednesday.
The statement revealed that 18 states had confirmed cases of the deadly virus on Tuesday with 397 recorded cases in Lagos and 357 in the Federal Capital Territory.
Other states were: Kaduna-81, Plateau-63,
Katsina-46, Sokoto-32, Oyo-28, Ogun-21, Kano-19, Rivers-18, Osun-13, Edo-12, Niger-12, Bayelsa-11, Borno-11, Bauchi-8, Jigawa-2
Ondo-2
“69,274 cases have been discharged and 1,236 deaths recorded,” the statement added
