300 Nigerians on Saturday arrived the Muritala Muhammed Int’l Airport,Lagos in the 5th Evacuation flight from the United States Of America since the outbreak of Coronavirus.
According to the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission,NIDCOM in a tweet via the official Twitter handle,the Evacuees arrived onboard Ethiopian Airline.
The returnees, who tested negative for COVID-19 before departure, are expected to self-isolate for 14 days in accordance to the protocol of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 and the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC.
This brings the number of evacuees from the US to a total of 1,430.
