The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primary election in Taraba State, has been nullified.
The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja also asked the leadership of the APC to conduct a fresh governorship primary in Taraba.
Senator representing Taraba Central, Yusuf A. Yusuf, had instituted a lawsuit, saying the party’s governorship primary was not conducted in the state.
Ruling on the case, the court asked Senator Emmanuel Bwacha to desist from parading himself as the party’s governorship candidate in Taraba State.
Reacting to the court ruling, APC spokesman in the state and Bwacha’s campaign director of media and publicity, Aaron Artimas, said plans to appeal the ruling are in the pipeline.
