President Muhammadu Buhari has signed seven new bills into law.
The signing of the bills was announced by Nasir Illa, the senior special assistant to the president on national assembly matters in a statement issued on Monday.
Illa said Buhari signed the Meteorological Agency (Establishment) Act, (2022).He said the president also signed the bill establishing the Counselling Practitioners Council of Nigeria.
“The other bills include the Meteorological Agency (Establishment) Act, (2022), Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (Establishment) Act (2022), Civil Aviation Act (2006) and the Civil Aviation Bill (2022).
“Others are the National Institute of Credit Administration (Establishment) Act (2022), Chartered Institute of Social Work Practitioners (Establishment) Act, (2022) and Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria Act, 2022″, he added.
