President Muhammadu Buhari has flagged of the Nationwide Registration and Revalidation exercise of the All Progressives Congress,APC.

The President flagged it off on Saturday with the revalidation of his Membership at his home town in Sarkin Yara ‘A’ of Daura local government in Katsina State.

The exercise was conducted under the supervision of the Ward Caretaker Chairman Aliyu Mamman and Secretary Sani Ali among others.

The President enjoined the old members to revalidate their membership and intending members that will register to comply with the guidelines provided by the Committee so as to ensure a peaceful exercise.

The National Registration and Revalidation Committee Chairman Governor Abubakar Sani Bello and other members of the Committee, the APC Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee, Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State were also in Daura to ensure compliance with the guidelines for the exercise.

The Senate President, Ahmed Lawan and Governors of Kebbi, Kwara, Imo, Jigawa, Kano, Plateau, Gombe and their host Governor were part of the significant event of the Party.

Speaking to journalists after the exercise, the Governor Abubakar Sani Bello who is also the Chairman of the National Membership Registration and Revalidation Committee expressed satisfaction with the exercise adding that the President being the leader of the Party has set a good example for others to follow.

Governor Sani Bello who called on all old, new and intendeing members of the Party to emulate President Buhari by submitting themselves to the laid down guidelines, assured that the Committee will achieve the desired objective at the end.
