President Muhammadu Buhari has condoled with renowned scholar, Prof Ralph Akinfeleye over the passing of his his wife, Mrs. Carol Anike Akinfeleye.
The President in a statement through his media Adviser, Femi Adesina prayed for God’s comfort for Prof and family at the trying period of grief.
“The President condoles with family, friends and associates of Mrs Akinfeleye, whose good work will continue to speak, particularly about the many lives she touched with her trademark charity, kindness and love.
“As the family peparess for the final rites of the deceased, who was the Yeye Gbekonuyi of Idanre Kingdom and a former school Principal and Director of Education in Lagos State, the President urges full trust in the Almighty God for strength and direction.
“President Buhari prays that God will grant the departed wife and mother a peaceful rest.”the statement concludes.
