Andrew Nice, the driver of the BRT where Oluwabamise Ayanwole was kidnapped has narrated how the 22-year-old lady was abducted.
Ayanwole, who had been declared missing was found dead on Carter bridge by ogogoro community, Lagos Island on Monday.
The BRT driver Andrew was later arrested in Ogun State by the Department of State Services (DSS) and handed over to the Lagos Police Command.
He was paraded by the Lagos Commissioner of Police, Abiodun Alabi on Monday at the Command’s headquarters in Ikeja.
Andrew recounted how he picked up Bamise and how some passengers he also picked up forcefully abducted her.
He said the three passengers showed him their guns and told him to cooperate, saying that once he saw their weapons, he was not himself anymore.
According to him, fear came upon him and that he did whatever they ordered him to do.
Andrew explained that ;
”I picked her from Chevron and I picked the other three guys at Agungi. When those guys showed me the weapon, I was kind of…I can’t be myself anymore. Fear has come in me.
The man…whatever he told me was what I do. When I followed that Carter bridge, after the overhead bridge, they ordered me to stop them. They ordered me to stop and said I should open the door.
When I opened the door, they came down and started dragging her. When I saw she was crying for help, I was helpless. I was thinking that she was inside the vehicle holding the iron.
Sir, I moved on.”
He said he was arrested in the place where he ran to when the incident happened. According to him, he was afraid.
