Brigadier General Mohammed Fadah as resumed as the new Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
Fadah takes over from Major General Shuaibu Ibrahim, who was appointed by President Buhari in 2019.
Ibrahim, the 18th DG’s tenure expires today .
Brigadier General Mohammed Fadah, who is from Yobe State visited the NYSC headquarters on Tuesday for briefing by Ibrahim.

Ibrahim also spent part of Tuesday addressing NYSC staff, also at the headquarters in Abuja.
He commended them for their tremendous support and loyalty which enabled him enjoy a successful tenure.
He urged them to extend the same support and loyalty to his successor.
“I am so glad l am leaving you fulfilled because when l looked at what we have done together we cannot count what we have. My philosophy in life is to touch my fellow human being and that is what l live for and what l will due for.
“NYSC has become more visible than before and it behoves on us to ensure that we sustain what we are doing. Please support the incoming Director General because he cannot do it alone, and in any action you want to take put NYSC first”, General Ibrahim said.
There was a farewell parade by Corps Members in honour of the out-going Director-General, today at the Old Parade Ground Area 10, Abuja followed by the official handing/taking over ceremony .
