The Borno State government has given an update on the pledges and actual donations from corporate entities, state governments, state and national assembly members, individuals, and non-governmental organisations for the victims of the recent flood in Maiduguri.

Flood waters have displaced more than one million people in and around Maiduguri, which serves as the hub for the responses to the humanitarian crisis in the northeast.
