Bagudu Distributes Relief Items To Communities In Ngaski Local Govt

Kebbi State Government has distributed relief items to six Fulanis Hamlets in Ngaski local Government area of the State.

The Six Fulani hamlets namely : Rugar Wakili, Rugar Sarkin Fulani Sumaye , Rugar Wakili Ladan , Rugar Alhaji Gaga, Rugar Malan Jika, Rugar Alhaji Jamole.

This followed the promise made by Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu during his visit to the local government area to condole and console the families of six persons killed by Yan Sakai.

The relief materials were distributed through a committee set up to judiciously distribute the items on Tuesday at Maikaji’ community supervised by the chairman of the committee, Alhaji Shehu Aliyu (Marafan Yauri).

According to the Chairman , the committee was formed following the directives of the governor to make sure the that all the affected residents receive the palliatives accordingly while the families of the six persons killed received financial assistance .

He said soon after the governor left the affected places in the night, the following morning he sent the relief items and directed judiciously distribution of the items . The items according to him comprised food and financial assistance.

Marafan Yauri emphasized that to ensure justice, equity and transparency, all the committee members were present during the excercise. He appreciated the governor for the confidence he has on the members.

Some of the beneficiaries too thanked the governor for fulfilling his promise to send the items promptly . Shehu Sani who is a fulani leader ( Dikko) expressed great joy and happiness for the kind gesture of the governor.

He described governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu as the peoples governor.

In the same vein, Wakili Sajo, another fulani leader acknowledged the receipt of the items and thanked the governor for his concern to then.

The governor’s visit alone is a testimony to his concern to our plight, God bless him ‘, he prayed.
