Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa has clinched the gubernatorial ticket of the All Progressives Congress, APC for the November 16 governorship election.

The Chairman of the Primary Election Committee and Kogi state Governor, Usman Ododo announced the result almost 48hrs after commencement of the exercise on April 20.

With Aiyedatiwa scoring the highest votes of 48,569, the result was declared almost 48 hours after the commencement of the exercise on April 20.

The primaries which was allegedly marred with irregularities, controversies and tension, saw Aiyedatiwa emerging the winner with 48,569 votes.
