The All Progressives Congress, APC,on Tuesday released its schedule of activities and timetable for the 2023 general elections.
The party, in the schedule released on its official Facebook and Twitter pages, said this was done in accordance to the provisions of the Electoral Act 2022 (as amended) and the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, timetable.
In the party’s schedule, the prices list for its Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms remained the same.
The presidential nomination and expression of interest forms cost N100million, governorship form costs N50 million; Senate, N20 million; House of Representatives, N10 million and State Houses of Assembly.
The APC said that its sale of forms commences today, Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at the party’s national secretariat, Abuja, while congresses to elect State delegates for the primaries hold from 7th to 9th May.
Aspirants have until 10th of May to complete and submit their forms and other documents to the party’s national secretariat in Abuja.
The party, according to the schedule, will hold its Special Convention for Presidential Primaries from the 30th of May to 1st June, 2020.
The APC said that persons with disabilities, women and youths 40 years and below, are not expected to pay the price for the nomination forms in full. Women and persons with disabilities will only buy the the Expression of Interest Forms, while they get the nomination forms for free. The youths will pay half of nomination forms and make full payment for the Expression of interest forms.
