Operatives of the Ondo State Security Network Agency codenamed Amotekun have intercepted a passenger bus suspected to be conveying bandits allegedly planning to invade the State.
The Bus which was said to have taken off from Katsina State was intercepted in Ondo Town.
The intercepted bus was loaded with over 500 pieces of dagger knives concealed under the seats.
The corps also seized guns and other types of knives concealed inside a sack loaded with tiger nuts inside the bus.

Adetunji Adeleye, Commander of Amotekun in Ondo State said the Corps tried to arrest three 18-seater passenger buses.
According to him, two of the buses escaped while his men were able to intercept one of the buses after it successfully evaded different checkpoints but was eventually intercepted in Ondo town.
He added that the escaped buses were also loaded with passengers who were suspected to also have dangerous weapons.
