Super Eagles and Fulham midfielder, Alex Iwobi, has raised eyebrows after sharing a video to reveal the poor living conditions of the Super Eagles’ accommodation ahead of their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier playoff against Gabon.
The clip, shared on Iwobi’s social media, exposed the dilapidated state of the team’s hotel, scattered laundry, and clear evidence of neglect, sparking widespread criticism and disappointment among fans and football observers.
So far, ten Super Eagles players have already arrived in Rabat, Morocco, for the crucial clash set for Thursday, November 13.
A win will secure Nigeria a spot in the final playoff against either Cameroon or DR Congo.
