Akwa-Ibom State Governor, Udom Emmanuel has donated truck loads of relief items, worth N100 million for flood management in Bayelsa state.
Governor Udom made the donation when he visited Governor Duoye Diri in Bayelsa state to commiserate with the victims ravaged by the flooding.
Receiving the donations, Governor Diri appreciates his brother governor, Udom Emmanuel for his compassion and love to the people of Bayelsa State.
He described the show of love as immeasurable citing that, it is a show of brotherhood.
“I really want to appreciate your show of love to your people. Since this thing started, I see you moving inside water across the whole State trying to restore hope to your own people, trying to show them that you care and that is the essence them having that confidence in you and putting you here to look after them.
“Your Excellency, the show of brotherhood, the show of love that you have exhibited today is immeasurable.
