Ondo State Governor,Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, has cancelled the 2020 yearly get together.
The get together is a yearly event, anchored by the Governor at his residence in Owo every 26th December.
Akeredolu in a statement by his Chief of Protocol, Tosin Ogunbodede on Wednesday said the decision is in honour ” of our departed compatriots in recent times, and in strict compliance with the protocols of COVID-19, especially with the 2nd wave currently ravaging the globe.”
Mr. Governor, however, enjoined every resident of the State to be moderate in their celebration of the Yuletide.
