Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu,has described elderstatesman and former Governor of Osun State, Chief Bisi Akande as a man of many parts.
“The most adorable of all virtues is humility; he possesses it from which many other values flow”, Governor Akeredolu said in his birthday message to the pioneer Acting National chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) issued by the State Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Donald Ojogo.
“Aboring no grudges and dispensing leadership at will at every needful point, Chief Akande has offered the Yoruba Nation and indeed, Nigeria very enviable paths to follow along the line of integrity and exemplified atruism.
“His commitments to humanity are legendary even as he exudes moderation of immeasurable heights. No doubt, his deeply inexorable comportment, rare humility and uncommon commitment to selfless service to the people have combined to mark paths of honesty to emulate. He means a lot to Nigeria.
“On this auspicious occasion of his 82nd birthday, it is our prayer that the ideals he has demonstrated, represented and yearned for all his life shall manifest to moments of glory in his life time”.
