Terrorists have again launched an attack on Adanla community in Igbaja, Ifelodun local government area, Kwara state, on Friday, 26 December, abducting seven residents.
The terrorists arrived around 7:00 pm on friday, December 26th firing sporadically to intimidate the locals and moving from house to house.
In the ensuing chaos, many residents fled into nearby bushes and surrounding communities for safety.
The coordinator of the Kwara south joint community security watch network, Olaitan Oyin-Zubair, confirmed that local hunters and vigilantes were quickly mobilised.
He noted that the military also deployed two operational vehicles to reinforce local security efforts.
While the identities of the victims remain unconfirmed, one woman was said to have sustained injuries during the attack.
