Nollywood actress, Kemi Afolabi says she has begin treatment for her diagnosis of lupus in the United States.
Lupus is an incurable disease that occurs when the body’s immune system attacks the tissues and organs.
She disclosed the progress via her official Instagram page, saying she is receiving treatment at the John Hopkins Hospital in Maryland, United States.
She wrote “I commenced my lupus treatment journey today with @hopkinsmedicine Alihamdulilah. Some beautiful souls made this happen, God bless you all. Wish me luck. #warrior.”
In March 2022, Kemi revealed that she has been diagnosed with Lupus and she has five years to live, out of which she has spent a year.
