The two factions of the All Progressive Congress in Abia State have collapsed into one body ahead of the 2023 general election.
A truce was reached between the two warring factions during a reconciliation meeting held in Ikwuano Local Government of the state on Saturday.
The reconciliation was announced in a communique read by a former speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly, Chief Martins Azubuike.
The governorship candidate of the party, Chief Ikechi Emenike, said that he will rescue the state from bad governance if elected the next governor of the state.
Both erstwhile factions promised to work assiduously for the victory of the APC and its candidate in the coming elections.
