Abducted children and teachers of Apostolic Faith Nursery and Primacy School, Emure Ekiti have been released.
Upon being released, officials of the state’s ministry of health were around to give them medical attention.
It is unclear whether ransom was paid and how much.
The state Governor Biodun Oyebanji held security meetings daily since the Monday incidence while security operatives were deployed into the forest in search of the children. One hundred Amotekun operatives from Ondo State also joined in the rescue team.
Children of Apostolic Faith Nursery and Primary School were kidnapped by suspected herdsmen on Monday on their way home from school. Two teachers, a driver and a bus assistant were also abducted by the armed men.
