Kebbi State Governor, Nasir Idris has pledged to secure a decisive electoral victory for President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 general elections.
Governor Idris made the pledge in Birnin Kebbi on Monday while addressing journalists after a high level stakeholders’ meeting of the All Progressives Congress.
The meeting brought together key political actors to deliberate on internal party matters and strengthen cohesion ahead of upcoming political contests.
The gathering, which drew prominent figures, underscored renewed efforts to consolidate the party’s influence across the state.
Speaking after the discussions, Nasir Idris emphasised that the resolutions reached would be formally communicated through the state Commissioner for Information.
He noted that the engagement was focused on issues affecting party unity and long term electoral strategy.
He added that the party continues to enjoy widespread support among residents, describing this backing as a strong foundation for future success at both state and national levels.
The meeting was attended by several senior political stakeholders, including the Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Atiku Bagudu, and the Minister of State for Humanitarian Affairs, Yusuf Tanko-Sununu.
Also present were Senators Adamu Aliero and Yahaya Abdullahi, alongside other influential party leaders.
